Baku Aquatics Centre

The Baku Aquatics Centre is set to become an iconic sporting venue for Azerbaijan. Also has Olympic-size swimming pool and was designed for different types of competitions at local and international levels.

Aquatic Palace

The length of the pool for diving is 25 meters in height and 20 meters in width and has a five-stage platform for high board diving from a height of 3, 5, 7,5 and 10 meters. 6,000 spectators can watch sports competitions at the palace. The palace also has sectors for VVIP, VIP, media and the disabled. In one part of the roof of the building used special panoramic glass panels which can convert solar energy into electricity. The generated electricity will be used for energy supply of some sections of the palace.

    Early in 2014, Eurodesign won a tender to deliver IT Infrastructure for recently constructed Baku Aquatic Center.

    This was very huge project where Eurodesign delivered innovative IT solutions for Aquatic Palace in highly aggressive time scales. All the works should have been finished prior the European Games as it Aquatic Center would host Baku 2015, European games. We built a team of highly experienced engineers and project managers for the project which consisted of local specialists as well as international experts.

    • Disabled Call System (DCS)
    • Structured Cabling
    • AV Systems
    • Access Control System
    • Broardcast Systems infrastructure
    • Point of Sale Systems

    This project required Eurodesign to use advanced communication skills to work with other sub-contractors as well as construction companies in order to solve any technical problems on time. This project gave us great experience of work with international team. 

    All IT Infrastructure was tested in and delivered on time, within budget and as per international standards.
