AMADA is an independent body responsible for combating doping in Azerbaijani sport. The Agency was established by the Law "On the fight against the use of doping substances and methods in sport" and the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on its implementation on December 23, 2016. The Agency is a public legal entity registered by the State Tax Service of the Ministry of Economy, and also reports to the Ministry of Finance.
